The Maxwell Dolphins, Denver Public Schools team will be implementing this unit in Kindergarten and fourth grade classrooms and K-5 art, music and social emotional settings in both English and Spanish settings. Our unit will guide us in recreating literary societies with accuracy in the modern day classroom and deepen our understanding of how we relate and identify with text (i.e. poetry, art, music, spoken word, videos, books, articles).
