The community of educators working with The 1619 Project represents a variety of different backgrounds and educational contexts. Educators are working with the project in K-12 schools, afterschool programs, higher education courses, and as part of adult learning and professional development. Our work at the Pulitzer Center helps to connect all educators to the project resources and to one another. We know that our best and most inclusive work is done in collaboration with others. We look forward to welcoming you to the community.

THE 1619 PROJECT EDUCATION NETWORK

Our largest 1619 initiative, the Education Network is composed of teams of educators working together over the course of a year to create and implement curricular resources utilizing The 1619 Project.
