Cape Cod Lighthouse Public Charter School

The Cape Cod Lighthouse Public Charter School team will be using the tools of Universal Design for Learning to increase accessibility for all learners in lessons exploring the concept of walking democracy. The unit focuses on the power and impact of people voting with their feet during the time period of The Great Migration up through the March on Washington, particularly the cultural traditions that were carried as people expressed their freedoms and desires for a better life.
