Emily Fishbein is a freelance journalist focusing on Myanmar. She seeks to cover underreported stories and underrepresented voices using a collaborative approach.

Fishbein is particularly interested in the nexus between natural resource governance, armed conflict, corruption, social inequities and environmental harm, and the ways natural resource demands impact local communities and their relationship with the environment.
