Asia Alexander
2025 REPORTING FELLOW
Asia Alexander is a journalist and communications specialist with a passion for storytelling, media strategy, and public relations. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in political science at Howard University. Asia reports for The Boston Globe and has worked with Forbes, NASA, General Motors, United Talent Agency, and the United States Senate.
Her experience includes covering economic policy, interviewing political figures, and managing communications for high-profile clients, including NFL players. As business manager for The Hilltop, Howard University’s student newspaper, she has led creative campaigns that boosted engagement and advertising sales.
With expertise in media relations, digital content creation, and social strategy, Asia is committed to amplifying diverse voices and shaping impactful narratives at the intersection of media, culture, and advocacy.
This student Reporting Fellowship was supported by the Pulitzer Center thanks to a grant from the IV Fund, focused on mental well-being in the United States.
