Our goal is to create an interdisciplinary instructional unit focusing on the resiliency, strength, and power of Black Indigenous and Women/Girls of Color (BIWOC). This curriculum will focus on language and literacy skills using historical and contemporary content. All students will access the curriculum through Ethnic studies, history, English, and ELD courses. An emphasis will be placed on critical thinking, writing, and speaking skills. The formative and culminating tasks focus is on College and Career Readiness skills, collaboration, and social-emotional learning.
