Our project is guided by the Essential Question: How can we recognize and remember the contributions of enslaved people in building American wealth and influence? The history teacher will be responsible for the student research and the art teacher and academic technology coordinator will work with students on the designs of their memorials, as well as creating a digital map of the locations researched and the proposed sites of the memorials.
