Bronxdale High School
NEW YORK
As a Humanities collaborative team, we aspire to equip students with the necessary tools to actively question and disrupt social and economic policies that aim to maintain the status quo. We want to build a shared curriculum that explicitly focuses on creating opportunities for students to make thematic connections (inclusive and expansive narratives, disrupting hegemony and social systems, retelling history, adding voices) across literary texts and historical time periods, and empower our students to tackle an issue they see as important in their lives.
