Tim Evans

Tim Evans is a freelance documentary photographer based in Minneapolis.

He has extensively documented contemporary social, ecological, and political stories, including the racial justice movement after the 2020 police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis—a body of work for which he was named the International Photography Awards' Emerging Editorial/Press Photographer of the Year as well as a Lucie Awards Discovery of the Year finalist.

His work has been featured in dozens of domestic and international media outlets, including Reuters, Bloomberg News, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Nation magazine, Mother Jones, The Washington Post, MPR News, Atmos magazine, VICE News, Toronto Star, and Mpls.St.Paul magazine.
