Tamia Fowlkes

Tamia Fowlkes is a senior at the University of Wisconsin – Madison majoring in Journalism and Political Science. Her journalistic passions stem from a passion to inform and educate her peers and community. Tamia has written for the Wisconsin State Journal, Isthmus and Madison Commons. She serves as the Big 10 Voting Challenge Intern for the Morgridge Center of Public Service and as an Andrew Goodman Ambassador for the Andrew Goodman Foundation. All of her positions have heightened her passions about politics, education, writing, and activism, and she is excited to continue growing as a writer and leader.
