Surbhi Gupta is South Asia Editor at the New Lines Magazine and is based in New York City. A graduate of Columbia Journalism School, she writes on the intersection of politics, culture, and history in South Asia.
Previously, she was a staff writer with The Indian Express, a leading national daily in India, covering the country’s diverse arts and culture scene, documenting Delhi's rich food history, and looking for stories at the intersection of internet and culture.
