Rhya is a senior at Georgetown University completing a Bachelor of Science in Global Health with a minor in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. Her interests include global maternal, infant and reproductive health and the ethics of health and development programs.
She is passionate about improving health equity around the world having grown up internationally, including many years spent in Bangladesh. On campus, Rhya has been leading efforts to advance menstrual justice and has helped provide free HIV and COVID-19 testing services across the city. She hopes to contribute to global health equity by drawing attention to complex environment-human health interactions.
