Paul McNally

Paul McNally is the founder of Develop Audio, an organization that produces investigative podcasts and trains journalists to create quality audio. He is also the founder of Develop Al, an innovative company that reports on AI, provides training and consulting services, and builds AI tools.
McNally has become a pioneer of investigative podcast creation in Africa. In 2016, he was a Visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard. He has received awards and recognition for his podcasts Alibi, What's Crap on WhatsApp?, and The Science Inside.
In 2015 he created the nonprofit Citizen Justice Network, which trains community paralegals to be radio journalists. He also co-founded and was the CEO of the podcasting production company Volume.
He has won 16 awards, and his book, The Street, investigated the corrupt relationship between the police and drug syndicates in Johannesburg.
