Paritta Wangkiat

Paritta Wangkiat is an award-winning journalist and editor with over a decade of experience covering the environment, health, and human rights. She is the editor-in-chief of Mekong Eye, leading cross-border investigative collaborations, including a 2025 Society of Publishers in Asia Award–winning investigation on cross-border cattle smuggling through a health lens.
She is also a team member of the Earth Journalism Network, supporting journalists across Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam to strengthen climate and environmental reporting.
