Olivia Brown

TEACHER FELLOW

Olivia Brown is an educator, storyteller, and public health professional who works to prioritize what she calls "people-powered, joy-centered, cultural, and systems change." 

At Project Unloaded—at Al Raby High School in Chicago—Brown combines her industry expertise, art activism, and community engagement experience to develop and teach engaging community programming that educates and empower teens to be part of the solution to gun violence.

Before joining Project Unloaded, Brown worked on environmental justice campaigns for a national organization in Manhattan, workforce development solutions for a community foundation in Miami, and has incubated several nonprofits focused on using art as a vehicle for education and community-building.
