Marley Cogan

Marley Cogan is a documentary producer based in Brooklyn, New York. She began her career in non-fiction storytelling as an associate producer for the Emmy-nominated short video series WE ARE WITNESSES (The Marshall Project), which explored the human cost of the criminal justice system through intimate first-person narratives. Cogan's work has appeared on The New Yorker, BET, A&E Networks, Refinery29, and EPIX, covering a range of topics, including voting rights, racial justice, labor organizing, and criminal justice reform. She currently works at Laylow Pictures, the production company founded by Academy Award-winning filmmakers Ezra Edelman and Caroline Waterlow.
