Mai Hoang

Mai Hoang is a freelance journalist based in Vietnam with bylines in Eco-Business, Viet Nam News, Saigoneer, Mekong Eye, and others. She was a Climate Tracker Journalism Fellow at the 24th U.N. Climate Change Conference (COP24). She also worked as Climate Tracker’s Southeast Asia lead. In this capacity, she has managed a media research program across five Southeast Asian countries and run two journalism workshops in Vietnam and an online train-the-trainer course on climate journalism. She worked with the Climate Tracker team to create climate journalism toolkits, newsletters, online modules, and occasionally delivers workshops at different events in the U.S. and Vietnam.
