Louie Palu

Louie Palu is a photographer and filmmaker whose work has examined social political issues, including human rights and conflict. He has been selected for a John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, a World Press Photo Award, and Pictures of the Year International honors.
Palu's work has examined topics such as the drug war in Mexico, conflicts in Afghanistan and Ukraine, and the changing geopolitics in the Arctic. His work has been published widely and his documentary films have been broadcast and screened worldwide.
Palu is based in Washington, D.C.
