Jeroen van Raalte

Jeroen van Raalte has been working as a domestic affairs editor at Trouw since 2024.
He specializes in local democracy and writes about municipal politics, among other topics. Previously, he was a regional correspondent for the newspaper in The Hague.
Van Raalte studied history at Leiden University. He has previously written for de Volkskrant, De Groene Amsterdammer, and Den Haag Centraal.
In 2023, he received the Hague Press Prize for four investigative stories.
