Hilary Matfess

Hilary Matfess, an assistant professor at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School, is a political scientist specializing in security, gender, and governance in sub-Saharan Africa. She is the author of Women and the War on Boko Haram (2017) and In Love and at War (2024).
