Elias Thompson

Elias Thompson is a second-year law student at the University of Miami and is an active member of the law school's Race & Social Justice Law Review. While his work with the RSJLR focuses primarily on issues of constitutional procedural due process, he plans to use his concentration in admiralty law to be an advocate for change in international environmental policy. Thompson is from Hidalgo County, on the southern tip of Texas, which shares an international border with Mexico. Prior to law school, he attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he had the opportunity to study abroad in Cuba, and graduated in 2018 with a major in government and politics.
