Thomas brings a unique perspective to her visual storytelling, documenting the human cost of armed conflict, displacement, and environmental and humanitarian crises. Her work is deeply rooted in human rights issues, capturing the often-overlooked stories of those affected by political instability, war, and marginalization.
From refugee camps across Europe to the front lines in the fight against ISIS in Iraq, Thomas has spent years reporting from some of the world’s most volatile and urgent areas.
