Casey McAlduff
PULITZER CENTER ALUM
Casey McAlduff is an educator and writer who spent the last decade teaching writing, civics, economics and Humanities courses in Oakland, CA. Casey received her MA in Education from UC Berkeley in 2016. She also earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Saint Mary's College in 2012, and holds a BA in Creative Writing and Spanish from the University of Southern California. She is a Bay Area Writing Project Teacher Consultant, and loves collaborating with fellow educators and writers. In addition to teaching, Casey also served as the curator of the Studio One Reading Series at Studio One Arts Center in Oakland from 2013-2021. She is excited to bring her passion for writing, historical literacy and media literacy to the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and to be part of the Pulitzer Center’s mission.
