Camilo Jiménez Santofimio is a Colombian journalist, editor, media manager, and consultant. He currently works as Head of Operations and Strategy in Radio Ambulante Studios, one of the Spanish-speaking world’s leading podcast production organizations. He is also a member of the Pulitzer Center’s Rainforest Journalism Fund Advisory Committee.

Between 2018 and 2020, he was the executive editor and publisher of Arcadia, Colombia’s most influential journalistic platform for culture, arts, and ideas. He has worked for media in Colombia, Germany, and the United States, among which are VICE, where he was Head of Content in Bogotá; Semana magazine, where he was a correspondent, reporter, and editor; the daily newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and the newsweekly Die Zeit, where he was a reporter and correspondent.

Camilo has created or managed transmedia, reporting, and advocacy-driven journalistic projects like the voting advice app Candidater, the digital reporting platform Pacifista, the digital project for civil society Divergentes, and Arcadia's innovation strategy. In 2021, he led the transformation of La Liga Contra el Silencio, a project that brings together almost twenty Colombian independent media outlets for collaborative investigative reporting.

After obtaining his Philosophy and History (M. A.) degree in Berlin, he was a reporting and editing trainee in Munich’s Süddeutscher Verlag. He has been a lecturer at the Universidad de Los Andes, the Universidad del Rosario, and EAN University.
