Alexander Borodikhin is a reporter and editor with over a decade of experience in Russian independent news media. Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of documenting the escalating repression, human rights abuses, and signs of democratic decay in Russia. For the past seven years, he has played an integral role at Mediazona, the leading independent news outlet that covers the Russian criminal justice system and the relentless political persecution of those brave enough to dissent. After earning his Master’s degree from Columbia Journalism School, Alexander aspires to use his unique experience to inform the broader international community.
