Katie Shealy

Katie Shealy is a 2026 graduate of the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, where she specialized in agricultural and environmental journalism.
She has reported for WUFT News, where her narrative story of how a farm family’s life was forever altered by a lightning strike was part of a team award for multimedia reporting from the Florida Society of News Editors.
Shealy is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists.
