Dino Grandoni

Dino Grandoni is a Washington Post reporter covering life sciences, including wildlife, biodiversity, ecology, genetics, evolution and paleontology.

His work has taken him to jungles in Central America, volcanoes in Hawaii, and reefs in the Mediterranean. He was part of a reporting team that was a finalist for the 2025 Pulitzer Prize in National Reporting for coverage of Hurricane Helene.

He received a bachelor's degree in economics and political science, and a master's in science journalism from Columbia University.
