Francisco Parra Galaz

Francisco Parra Galaz is the executive director of Climate Tracker América Latina, a foundation that has trained over 200 journalists from 25 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, while consistently publishing journalistic content on the climate crisis in the region.
Parra has specialized in environmental and climate change reporting, publishing in various media outlets in Chile and internationally, including La Tercera, The Clinic, El Desconcierto, Dialogue Earth, and Climate Home News, among others.
He is pursuing a master’s degree in climate change law and economics at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO), after completing postgraduate studies that bridge investigative journalism, environmental science, and energy policy. Parra is a journalism graduate of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
