Mailee Osten-Tan

Mailee Osten-Tan is a Malaysian-German and British documentary filmmaker and photographer working in South and Southeast Asia since 2017. Osten-Tan has directed and produced short films that have gone on to be showcased at various international film festivals.
Her work has been commissioned by CNN, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, and VICE World News. She is a stringer for Getty Images, and a member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo “Up Next”.
In 2022, she was selected for the Eddie Adams Workshop and Missouri Photo Workshop for documentary photography.
