Join us for a special conversation with Tatenda Ngwaru, an intersex activist and human rights champion from Zimbabwe, and journalist and documentary filmmaker Robert Tokanel, who worked with Tatenda to tell the story of her fight for intersex rights and visibility.
Participants will learn more about challenges facing intersex people around the world and will celebrate intersex resistance and pride.
This event is open to all, but is recommended for ages 11 and up.
If you would like to explore this topic with your students in greater depth after the event, check out this activity on Flipgrid or this lesson plan on the Pulitzer Center website.
