The Pulitzer Center will be involved in panels, training, and networking events at this year’s Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC 2025) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from November 20-24.

GIJC is more than a conference. It's a community gathering of investigative reporters, data journalists, editors, technologists, and storytellers from around the world. Through our work with Fellows and grantees, we have supported investigations that challenge dominating narratives and hold the powerful accountable in sectors like mining, health, forced migration, and supply chains. GIJC is the arena to highlight the work of our journalists, share lessons learned, and draw interest (from media partners and research groups) in scaling investigations in key regions.

Our staff will participate in fourteen panels across different tracks, such as data, environment, media engagement frameworks, and AI accountability. Some sessions will be recorded and shared in December.
