The coveted forest has been destroyed by foreigners, impacting communities.

The Magic Attitude participative radio show on Magic FM in Yaoundé, Cameroon, on March 27, 2024, focused on "How To Explain the Abusive Exploitation of Forests in Cameroon."

Based on the Pulitzer Center Rainforest Reporting article titled "The Population Deplores the Abusive Exploitation of Their Land in Defiance of Agreed Clauses," the speakers on the radio show denounced poor forest management by state authorities and called for compliance with the legislation regulating Cameroon's forestry sector.

In partnership with the Pulitzer Center's Africa outreach program, the radio show aimed to get the public involved in discussions around forest protection and governance.
