Social Studies Department at Abramson Sci Academy

The Abramson Academy team’s project enables students to make explicit connections between past injustices, local history, and avenues for collective action. The team used Pulitzer Center materials, local archives, and The 1619 Project, to help students investigate the lasting impact of American slavery to trace longstanding roots of current patterns of inequality.
